Happiness is perhaps one of the most sought after treasures in the world and for many the most elusive. We seek it, surrogate it and surrender it time and time again. We’re always on the hunt for happiness so much so we’ll buy into the happiness if onlies. You know what the if onlies are, don’t you? They’re the statements we hear people say about what would make them happy:
if onlies” are those things we think will make us happy but when we get them, we discover they can’t do what we thought they would.
Happiness is one of those things most people always seem to be striving for but not quite achieving. I wonder if part of the reason isn’t because we really don’t understand what happiness really is.
